- 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (2-1/4 tsp.) envelope Fleischmann's® Active Dry Yeast
- 2 cups warm water (100° to 110°F)
Keep this starter on hand to use in the sourdough recipes found throughout this site. Starters can be thick or thin; both will work equally well. The amount of flour needed in the final recipe will vary according to the consistency of the starter.
