This bread makes excellent sandwiches. Use it in the following recipe and take grilled cheese to a whole new level!
Three Cheese Panini
Yield: 4 sandwiches
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 4 to 6 minutes/sandwich
- 6 tablespoons butter OR margarine, softened
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian Herb Seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 8 slices homemade white bread, sliced 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 6 ounces Fontina cheese, sliced OR shredded
- Combine butter, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder, blending well. Spread on one side of each slice of bread.
- Portion cheese onto un-buttered side of 4 slices of bread, top with second slice of bread (buttered side out). Grill over medium heat or use a panini maker, cooking until bread.
