- 1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, well drained and chopped (reserve syrup)
- Cherry Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tablespoons reserved cherry syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
