ingredients

  • 2 to 2-1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 (2-1/4 tsp) packet Fleischmann's® RapidRise®​ Yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of cloves
  • ½ cup raisins finely chopped
  • ½ tsp orange zest
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tsp tsp butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine ¾ cup flour, sugar, Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Instant Yeast, salt, cinnamon and cloves in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Combine milk, water and butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 15 second increments until the water is warm but not hot, about 120 to 130 degrees. The butter won’t be fully melted.
  3. Add finely chopped raisins and orange zest to the milk mixture and mix to combine.
  4. Add milk to flour mixture and beat using a mixer for 2 minutes on high.
  5. Add ¼ cup flour and beat on high speed, then add remaining flour to form dough, about 1 to 1 ¼ cup flour.
  6. Divide rolls into 12 equal pieces and roll into balls then place in a greased 8x8 square baking pan.
  7. Cover with a towel and allow to rise for 10 minutes.
  8. Place in an oven preheated to 375 degrees and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from pan and brush the top with melted butter. Serve warm.
